Steve has wide experience of advising on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, fund raisings, joint ventures and restructurings, with a track record in the healthcare, education, technology and renewable energy sectors. 

Steve frequently works with client companies in a non-executive capacity to provide commercial and strategic support and recent appointments have included working with an electronics payments company from first stage equity raise through to product commercialisation and a full institutional fund raising. 

Steve was a co-founder of Acuity Law in 1999, and in his capacity as managing partner guided the business from a two partner start-up to an over 150 people firm and one that is recognised as a leading corporate and real estate advisory firm. Before Acuity, Steve trained at Herbert Smith and was a corporate partner with Eversheds.

Steve has a high level of technical legal expertise combined with a wealth of commercial experience, and this has been recognised by Legal 500 who have credited him with the highest possible professional ranking and the comment “someone you want on your side of the table every time.”
